PROGRAMS & EVENTS

Delta Phi Lambda® continues to innovate and excel, developing national programming and events that actively support the growth, education, health, and well-being of our members.

We also empower our members to develop their own programming and events that positively impact their campuses, fraternal communities, and greater surrounding communities.

Read on to learn about some of these exciting offerings below.

CHAPTER LED PROGRAMS & EVENTS

Our chapters host several signature events throughout the year. Through these various programs, our sisters have helped enrich their campuses and local communities by providing a welcoming atmosphere for everyone to gather and discuss issues that pertain to Asian awareness, empowering women leaders, and osteoporosis prevention and awareness.

  • Taste of Diversity Culture Show (UGA Chapter) - This event celebrates the diversity on campus, consisting of performances from on-campus and Athens/Atlanta-based cultural group, authentic Asian food served from different nations, and a pageant to crown "Mr. Diversity."

  • Stroll Your Bones Off (GSU Chapter) - This event is a stroll competition that raises money and awareness for our national philanthropy, osteoporosis prevention and awareness.

  • Iron Chef (UCF Chapter) - This event encourages groups to compete in a cooking competition where they must cook a three course meal with a secret ingredient of our choice. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place wins a cash prize that they may donate to a philanthropy of their choice.

  • Urban Expressions (DePaul Chapter) - This event exposes attendees to fresh, unique performers that express themselves through step-shows, spoken words, hip-hop dances, vocalists, and others performances. This is the time for an outreach and networking of communities to come together, celebrate, and express the significance of being urban.

  • Stroll Competition (Emory Chapter) - This event is a stroll competition that promotes Greek unity and allows non-Greek members at Emory to have a taste of Greek Life pride.

  • Global Gala (GVSU Chapter) - This event features a variety of exciting performances by student organizations to showcase the diversity at Grand Valley State University.

  • Unity Feast (Loyola Chapter) - This event encourages attendees to bring canned goods in exchange for a plate of food. All donations are made to the Greater Chicago Food Depository.

  • Asian Exploration (UWF Chapter) - This event celebrates different cultures and communities by collaborating with other student organizations through performances, good, and other activities.

  • Moonlight Masquerade Charity Ball (UNCC Chapter) - This event is a prom event, which celebrates our national philanthropy and helps raise money and awareness for the cause.

NATIONALLY LED PROGRAMS & EVENTS FOR MEMBERS

We strive to continue developing sisters into Dedicated Female Leaders®. We provide personal and professional opportunities for sisters to enrich their experiences through nationally led programs.

NATIONAL CONVENTION

Our annual national convention is a forum where sisters from around the U.S. unite to bring culturally diverse perspectives to teach, learn, and reflect amongst each other. During convention, we conduct sorority business, learn about new programs and initiatives, recognize chapter and individual excellence, invest in our own personal and professional development, and most importantly, strengthen the bonds of Everlasting Sisterhood®.

CHAPTER EXCELLENCE PROGRAM (CEP)

Our chapters participate in the Chapter Excellence Program, which was developed to foster chapter growth and progress will certifying quality performance through a set of operation guidelines and standards. The program ensures our chapters' stability in finances, efficient operations, strong academics, and active community involvement.

3 C'S PROGRAM

Our chapters promote osteoporosis awareness through a national program called The 3 C’s: Collaboration, Cooperation and Celebration. Each semester, chapters host a three-day event that celebrates and raises funds for our national philanthropy, American Bone Health.
